Mrs Dilys Lownsborough is a qualified,
college trained fashion designer and coututier. After successfully
completing five years training, she went on to work for two fashion
houses before being elected to full membership of the Society
of Chartered Designers, on the basis and quality of her work.
Dilys Designs has been operating independently from Petersfield
for over 20 years. Clients visiting the salon receive professional
advice on all their colour, styling and fashion choices.
Whether for chapel or cathedral, civil or religious ceremonies,
at home or overseas, simple or sumptuous, all gowns are made
on an exclusive, one-off basis. All sizes are also catered for.
Mother of the Bride/Groom outfits and accessories can be created
to coordinate the bridal colour theme.

Both services are MADE-TO-MEASURE, if required, non stock and
larger sizes a speciality. Utilised by the Bride, (including
weddings overseas, and going away), Mother-of-the-Bride/Groom,
and suitable for Ascot, Buckingham Palace Garden Parties, Christenings,
Day and Evening events, and all Special Occasion Wear.
MODEL and STOCK hats to BUY, to HIRE, or made up as SPECIAL
MODEL orders.
All hats from an INTERNATIONALLY RENOWNED hat design company
- also serving many famous names and couture houses, and as ACTUALLY
on sale at top London stores and boutiques.
Stock and special order couture hats can be TRIMMED in material,
or REAL SILK FLOWERS, to give an individual look, to coordinate
with every outfit.
Over 4,000 Fabrics from all over the world from which to select,
for all clothing and accessories.
CO-ORDINATING BAGS and SHOES in a wide variety of styles
also made in matching or toning materials (without the need for
dyeing).
BRIDAL and SPECIAL OCCASION EXCLUSIVE DESIGNER SHOES. INDIVIDUALLY
made in the clients' own material, (alternatively in material
supplied by Dilys Designs), also decorated or trimmed to enhance
every outfit.
